As the world’s first laser-optimized multimode fiber, InfiniCor® 300 delivers outstanding performance for both LED and VCSEL light sources, ensuring seamless operation across diverse network environments.
Designed for Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed data center applications, this fiber supports transmission distances up to 300 meters at 850 nm when used with VCSEL-based 1000BASE-SX systems. It offers excellent modal bandwidth, low attenuation, and superior consistency, thanks to Corning’s precision manufacturing and advanced measurement control technologies.
In addition to its superior optical performance, InfiniCor® 300 fiber is fully backward compatible with legacy 62.5 μm multimode systems, allowing smooth migration from older networks to higher-speed infrastructures without costly re-cabling. This makes it the ideal choice for LANs, campus networks, and building backbones where both performance and reliability are essential.
