Customized Single Fiber CWDM Mux Demux, Side A
Single Fiber CWDM Mux Demux, Side A, employs CWDM technology to multiplex multiple signals with different wavelengths onto a single fiber for transmission and demultiplex them at the receiving end. This device increases the transmission capacity of a single fiber and is typically used in scenarios where fiber availability is limited. The “Side A” designation indicates one end of the link, with a corresponding “Side B” device at the other end to complete the transmission path. It is widely used in metropolitan area networks, access networks, and data centers, offering high bandwidth and efficient fiber utilization with low insertion loss and high signal isolation.

The CWDM Mux Demux offers 18 customizable wavelengths spaced 20nm apart, from 1270nm to 1610nm. You can decide based on your CWDM solutions.

NOTE:
- Actual layout depends on the chosen connector type as well as other factors. However, the principal scheme stays the same.
- We provide optional port configurations such as: Express Port, Monitor Port, 1310nm passband port and 1550nm port for these multiplexers according to customer choice, need more details, please contact at [email protected].
- When using with 1310nm legacy SDH/SONET, CWDM wavelengths 1270, 1290, 1310, 1330 and 1350nm should not be used.
When using with 1550nm legacy SDN/SONET, CWDM wavelengths 1510, 1530, 1550, 1570 and 1590nm should not be used.
Four Connectors for Custom-tailored Installations
1U Rack Mount and FMU Plug-in Module Mux/Demux can be customized with LC and SC connectors, while ABS Pigtailed Module Mux/Demux supports LC, SC, ST and FC connectors.
LC/SC/ST/FCconnectors are available to meet different needs.UPC for digital signal transport. APC for RF video signal transport and FTTx.
