The VF45 To LC/UPC Duplex OM2 MultiMode Fiber Patch Cable combines this easy-to-use VF-45 connector on one end with an LC duplex connector on the other, designed for high-speed data transmission in multi-mode fiber optic networks. The VF-45 connector offers the same ease of use as an RJ-45 connector. The Volition VF-45 socket and fiber patch cable represent the latest duplex fiber optic interconnection for fiber-to-the-desk (FTTD) networks, designed to function similarly to an 8-pin modular socket. This brings the same simplicity to fiber optic applications as the RJ-45 interface does for copper cabling. VF-45 sockets can be field-terminated on distribution panels in telecom rooms or building horizontal wiring, with termination of a two-fiber cable taking less than one minute.
