Fiber Optic Cables

A Simplex OM4 multimode fiber optic pigtail is a single-core fiber connector designed for high-speed optical communication. Based on the OM4 standard, it supports higher data transmission rates and longer distances, commonly used in 40G, 100G, and higher-speed networks. The OM4 fiber typically has a 50-micron core diameter, optimized for 850 nm wavelength lasers. One end of the pigtail comes pre-installed with a fiber optic connector, while the other end is bare fiber, intended for splicing into other parts of the fiber link.
